peer pressure and parties
the
fish caught
on to shapes
that repeated
yet
he kept swimming
in cirlces
smiling and blowing bubbles
he would suffer
his beautiful speed
and colors
fish caught
on to shapes
that repeated
yet
he kept swimming
in cirlces
smiling and blowing bubbles
he would suffer
his beautiful speed
and colors

Yes, peer pressure and being snagged on a fish hook do seem to have the same short term effects. Unfortunately there is peer pressure at evey age in life and in every situation. Nobody ever out gows it, but some of us learn to handle it better than others.
Though it might not seem like it now, you are going to evolve into one of those people who handle it well. The people who won't handle it well are the kids in control of it now -- because they aren't learning how to cope with the stress since they're the ones causing it.
So, next time you are tempted to do sopmething against your will to be cool, consider them 10 years from now making fools of themselves at parties -- at which point you will have it out of your system.
Sometimes life is fair.
Oh, btw -- I wrote the poem you liked on my blog.
You may also want to pop back over and check out the answer I left you.
Hi Crow,
is that fish in a bowl
is that fish in a pond
is that fish in the river.
Salmon are strange
how they swim up river and spawn
Maybe they know, they know
that's not the end of the journey
for those from the spirit born
